Yikes. Wedding day prep is a BIG task to undertake, especially when you’re DIY-ing it. We’re here to make things that little bit easier by managing that strict runsheet and supplier list of yours on the day, and by officiating your wedding so you can tick all those legal boxes in a way that doesn’t feel so… formal. Because being super serious and super formal totally isn’t our thing.

Renee is INCREDIBLE. I was recently a celebrant at a wedding that Renee was coordinating. I wouldn’t look further if you need a wedding coordinator OR a celebrant. She does both, what a LEGEND… As soon as I arrived I was greeted with THE BIGGEST SMILE and friendliest human being on the planet. Renee helped me unpack and get organised all while helping other vendors and greeting guests. This absolute legend literally helped me, even when I didn’t know that I needed it. I almost wish I wasn’t married just so I could have hired her for my special day. If there were more stars than 5 she would literally get the whole entire sky!

Renee is amazing! We had Renee as our Celebrant and wedding coordinator. Not only is she amazing at what she does, she is just a beautiful person to get to work with. We wanted our friend to perform the ceremony and Renee to do all the legalities and she worked with us and our friend to create the perfect ceremony to suit us. On the day she was running around like crazy, checking in on everyone and ensuring everything was set up and ready to go for the ceremony and reception as we had a DIY venue. She is worth every cent, not only on the day but in the lead up to it, as she managed all our vendors and we didn’t have to do any of the chasing up, confirmations etc. ourselves. I was seriously the most relaxed bride in the lead up and on the day thanks to Renee!

What can I say! Renee was great. After a postponement and then a cancellation and then an intimate micro wedding, Renee was there! She was great to communicate with and thought of many details. On the day she was calm and efficient and popped up at just the right times for an update. She took on some weird duties (like filming the vows as we didn’t have a videographer and ensuring the boys had ironed shirts!) and just helped out in all the little ways. Event Coordination Package

Your wedding is all coming together. You’ve spent months working on your own DIY projects; handmade, homegrown, personally-collected items to make your dream day feel extra special (while also sticking to your budget, of course). Your candles, centrepieces, seating cards, cutlery and crockery are all packed and ready to go. Your invites have been sent, RSVPs and dietary requirements collected. And now it’s time to find your perfect person to hand everything over to – so you can sit back, relax, sip on some bubbles, and enjoy your Big Day.

 

Which is where we come in!

 

We’re here to manage your runsheet, liaise with suppliers and ensure your vision comes to life on your wedding day – so you (or your mum, or your brother, or cousin Laura) don’t have to.

  • 6 hours of on-the-day coordination

  • Access to master planning documents and PDFs
  • You plan your day to perfection, and we’ll ensure it comes to life
  • Catch-up call 1 month before the wedding
  • Completed planning documents are handed over to us
  • We’ll check-in with all suppliers and introduce ourselves
  • Runsheet is finessed by us, liaising with suppliers
  • In contact with all suppliers 2 days before the wedding to finalise details
  • Option to add more on-the-day coordination hours if required

Celebrant Package

We don’t take ourselves too seriously. But what we do take seriously is ensuring your wedding is officiated seamlessly (and humorously, if that’s your thing).

Renee and Amy are registered Civil Marriage Celebrants (because yes, not anyone can just ‘get you married’). We’ve been working in the wedding industry for over 10 years and still pinch ourselves every day that we get to help lovers tie the knot (don’t worry, the bruises fade).

Inclusions

  • Initial call to make sure we are as cool as our bio's say we are
  • Ask us anything and everything (other than our Gmail password or debit card PIN)
  • If you love each other and we click, we'll lock in your date!
  • Receive all your legal documentation via email. This includes: A couples questionnaire, services agreement, wedding information form, and some useful links
  • We’ll book in a meeting that feels like a blind date… and we are the third wheel!
  • Preparation and signing of Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) one month prior to your wedding date
  • From here, we channel our inner Nicolas Sparks (writer of The Notebook) mixed with the songwriting skills of Keith Urban, with a twist of comedy from Bridesmaids, and starts creating your personalised ceremony script
  • After the ceremony, we will send all paperwork through to the BDM Registry and provide instructions on how to apply for an Official Certificate from Births, Deaths & Marriages (important if you’re planning on changing your name)
  • Receive your Commemorative Marriage Certificate on the day

We’ll do all-things officiation and coordination on your Big Day. Which, practically speaking (because we’re all about practicalities here), means you get to deal with one less supplier *wipes sweat from brow*, and you can rest assured that one person (who you obviously adore) is across, well, everything.

 

So really, you can have your (wedding) cake and eat it too, with this package.

Hey, you! I’m Renee.

Gosh, it’s safe to say I’m pretty excited to start chatting weddings with you.

 

I’m the founder of Help Me Hitch, and I love nothing more than celebrating love and working hard (like, really hard) to turn your Big Day into your Dream Day.

 

When you choose to work with me, you’re choosing a celebrant and/or coordinator who is bound to induce laughs (the belly kind) and become your bestie throughout the process. Because feeling truly connected to one of your most important suppliers on the day is pretty darn important. Well, in my opinion anyway.
